PocketWizard AC5 RF SoftShield

More Information

Product description

AC5 RF Soft Shield The Pocket Wizard AC5 RF Soft Shield is now available for customers who wish to have a backup for the AC5 that came packaged with their Pocket Wizard Flex TT5 or as a replacement for one they may have lost or damaged. This two-piece shield slips over the certain Canon Flash units and isolates them from the remote Flex TT5 antenna which greatly improves flash operation. The AC5 RF Soft Shield is a simple solution to reduce interference and improve performance of the Flex TT5 Transceiver. Special RF fabric and a shoe filter shields the Flex TT5 Transceiver from RF noise emitted by some Canon Speedlites (580EX II, 580EX and 430EX). The Canon 550EX, 270EX and newer 430EX II emit relatively low EMI and work well with the Flex TT5 without shielding. The AC5 allows easy access to all flash controls as well as a full range of flash positions. The AC5 normally comes packed in the Pocket Wizard Flex TT5 Transciever. A replacement AC5 can be purchased separately.
